The Garden

The garden offers everything for the sports enthusiast:  an impressive 12 metres x 6 metres infinity swimming pool, an all-weather tennis court (private lessons available) and a boule pitch overlooking the vineyard and Mont Ventoux.

The main garden is approached from the courtyard through the arched gateway which leads on to the upper terrace, where a graceful wisteria forms a vast swathe of shade above the dining area in the hot summer months.

The swimming pool, set between lavender beds, borders the lower terrace and has gentle stone steps leading into it – ideal for children.  There is plenty of lawn area for ball games and  a little stream winds along the edge of the property on one side.  Ancient olive trees, stately cypress and formal box planting complete the garden landscape.  The garden is bordered by a stone wall, beyond which are cherry trees and lavender fields.

The built- in barbeque is housed in one of the two abris (covered areas) in the courtyard, an ideal alternative dining area, where the mulberry tree offers shade throughout the day.  There is also a portable barbeque.
