The Surroundings
Mas Vignes Folles is located 2.5 km from Bonnieux, one of the famous perched hilltop villages in the Luberon Valley and just minutes away from Menerbes, Roussillon with its ochre-coloured cliffs, Oppede, Gordes and Lacoste with the ghostly castle of the Marquis de Sade which is strikingly illuminated at night.
Bonnieux has an excellent butcher, two bakers (and, possibly, a candlestick maker!) - it even has a Bakery Museum. It also has a beauty salon, pharmacy, supermarket and interesting range of small shops. There is an excellent choice of restaurants, cafés and bars in Bonnieux and the nearby villages.
For antique lovers, the unique town of Isle sur la Sorgue, just 30 minutes away, with its plethora of antique and bric a brac shops and the famous weekend markets, is an absolute must.
