Menerbes, Oppede, Roussillon, Gordes and Lacoste with the ghostly castle of the Marquis de Sade which is strikingly illuminated at night, are all close by. Bonnieux has a good butcher, two bakers and even a Bakery Museum. It also boasts an excellent supermarket, a great florist, a pharmacy and an interesting range of small shops and boutiques. There is an impressive choice of restaurants, cafés and bars in Bonnieux and the nearby villages.
For antique lovers, the unique town of Isle sur la Sorgue, just 30 minutes away, with its plethora of antique and bric a brac shops and the famous weekend markets, is an absolute must.
